The LYNX build set is a build for The Surge. Builds are custom kits of items and attributes that have a unique playstyle to those specifications.

bonfire   Wearing of full set of LYNX gear increases the attack speed when health is at 80% or above.

To take full advantage of this bonus, the level of health needs to be controlled with precision. For that reason, the Plasmic Regenerator is the best option as supportive healing source.

first_aid_station_icon   Healing

Because it heals on time, the Plasmic Regenerator allow an easier managment of the health.
As long as it is active, the implant will regenerate health. So even if the health reach 100%, and damage are taken while still under the effect of the implant, the health will be regenerated.
Every time the set bonus deactivate, using a Plasmic Accumulator instead of a Vital Boost, is the best option.

It is possible to use the implant Vital Injection while under the effect of the implant Plasmic Regenerator. Those implants doesn't share a cooldown. Therefore, it is technically impossible to get cornered.

Heavyduty   Gears & Weapons

Because of the reduction of stamina consumption on the body gear, using the highly stamina consuming Heavy-duty and Single-rigged weapons is a lot easier.
In term of mobility, both leg and body gears allow the player a great deal of maneuverability.

The arm gears increases the attack speed by +6%. Coupled with the set bonus, the high ASPD granted gives the LYNX set a lot of versatility in term of playstyle. Indeed, most weapons in the game can benefite from the set bonuses, allowing the player to play the weapon of its choice."

Staves and One-handed weapons that have medium impact beneficiate a lot from the set bonus. That balance between impact and ASPD makes those weapons, probably the easier to use for a beginner.

Playing Heavy-duty or Single-rigged weapons can be really frustrating without such ASPD bonus. I wouldn't recommend to play those two weapon types without, to be honest.

Twin-rigged weapons, despite their low impact, became a force to be reckoned with. That high ASPD gives a new dimension named DPS (damage per second). Because of their DPS, inflicting a lot of damage in a short amount of time or chain-staggering ennemies wearing Operator class gears.
That been said, even with their low cost in stamina ; beware of your stamina managment ! It is easy to spam the attack buttons with such satisfying ASPD.

CorePowerConsumption   Progression of the build by Core Power

Because the LYNX set doesn't require a lot of CP, it is possible to get a nice setup as soon as CP26. Allowing to equip two Vital Boost, two Vital Injection and two Plasmic Regenerator. All of this before the first boss.

Vital Boost v.1 and v.3
Two Vital Injection v.1
Two Plasmic Regenerator v.1
Gyro-Stabilizer v.2 / Endurance Enhancer v.1

If you choose to use Heavy-duty or a Single-rigged weapons, the Endurance Enhancer would be the better choice. It's because of the high stamina consumption of those weapons.

Gyro-Stabilizer : It's easy to overlook the importance of blocking. But when used correctly it creates a lot of options in fight. Reducing the samina consumed by blocking an attack can not only allow to combo after a counter-attack (for the weapons that can), but can also save a life more often that it seems.

Endurance Enhancer v.3
Gyro-Stabilizer v.2

Also, since the Heavy-duty and Single-rigged weapons still have somewhat slow attack animation, this is easy to cancel the attack by blocking. In case you don't want to trade, the Gyro-Stabilizer got your back.

By unequiping the Sunglasses and with a Voltaic Dynamo v.2 and the Red X-Cables equiped, it is now possible to use the low energy costing drone's modules without problem.
The Emergency Coolant Vent and the Concusive Module allow a better "crowd control". It's especially effective when using a weapon that doesn't have a lot of impact.

If you do not like playing with the drone, it is possible to change the energy related implants for more healing implants. I was just trying to gives the build, more fighting options.
