RHINO & "Military Grade fire tools" is a build for The Surge. Builds are custom kits of items and attributes that have a unique playstyle to those specifications.

bonfire   Wearing a full set of RHINO gear increases the impact by at least +40% while under the effect of implants that boost your weapon's damage.

The best implant to boost your weapon's damage is the Mechanized Counterweight.
Been sure to always have enough energy to activate it and perform an execution is important.

One-Handed    Weapons and Gears

The free DLC Fire and Ice Weapon Pack added the perfect weapons for this set :
- MG Caldarium (One-handed)
- MG Ignis (Staff)
- MG Strigil (Twin-rigged)

Those weapons have the highest energy gain bonus of their category, but have low impact and base damage.

When under the effect of the Mechanized Counterweight implant, the impact is raised to an improved high impact for the Caldarium & Ignis, and improved medium impact for the Strigil.

Those weapons also have a special effect :
"Striking enemies multiple times causes excess heat to build up, which will then be released as a fiery burst."

The number of hit required to trigger the fiery burst is consistent, so it's not impossible to predict when it will be triggered (depend on the limb aimed at).
Influenced directly by the damage dealt to the ennemy. Triggering the fiery burst on an attack using the highest damage type of your weapon is important.
By paying attention to your combos, this build is probably the most damaging.

To increase your damage even more on armored parts, equiping the Sunglasses is a great idea.

Now, I've reach the point where I adress the downside of the gears :
- The attack speed is slow because of the 8% reduction from the arm gears.
- The body and leg gears increases the stamina consumption by a lot. Managing your stamina is really important. Especialy at low CP.

first_aid_station_icon    Healing

To mitigate the use of Vital Injection, I think the best option with this build is to use the Aggression Amplifier implant. It will be a consistent source of healing due to the % based heal.

Gyro-Stabilizer : It's easy to overlook the importance of blocking. But when used correctly it creates a lot of options in fight. Reducing the samina consumed by blocking an attack can not only allow to combo after a counter-attack (for the weapons that can), but can also save a life more often that it seems.
