The MG Gorgon build is a build for The Surge. Builds are custom kits of items and attributes that have a unique playstyle to those specifications.
"Wearing a full set of MG Gorgon gear grants increased stamina regeneration."
This bonus can be useless for a lot of players.
If you play slow and steady, you won't need a better stamina regeneration.
Been always on the offensive is very risky in The Surge. You can't just spam the attack buttons and hope for the better.
You have to take advantage of the openings in the ennemies moveset. For that reason, having a higher rate of stamina regeneration allows you to take advantage of every opportunity.
Considering that, it is pretty obvious that fast weapons will be the best options.
Gears and Weapons
With the +15% impact bonus from the arm gears, most Twin-rigged weapons will reach medium impact.
Fast One-handed weapons and staves are good options too.
The head gear reduces the use of the drone's module by 50%.
The most interesting module to use is, for me, the Industrial Electromagnet.
For this build, it's a great module for multiple reasons :
- cost 12 energy
- crowd control
- short cooldown
- does not deal damage
- free "backstab"
Let me explain the last two points :
- You don't want to miss an execution, killing an ennemy with a drone waste that opportunity.
- Everytime an ennemy is pulled by the drone, he will face it. Making his position really predictable.
Tips : After a "backstab", when kneeling, an ennemy will takes doubled damage. To take advantage of it, a sliding attack is the best option.
Healing
To mitigate the use of Vital Injection, I think the best option with this build is to use the Aggression Amplifier implant. It will be a consistent source of healing due to the % based heal.

Omni-Audit
The Omni-Audit is an important tool to monitor the stability bar of ennemies. Knowing when an ennemy will be staggered is crucial when you want to play really aggressively.

Gyro-Stabilizer : It's easy to overlook the importance of blocking. But when used correctly it creates a lot of options in fight. Reducing the samina consumed by blocking an attack can not only allow to combo after a counter-attack (for the weapons that can), but can also save a life more often that it seems.
