MG Caldarium is a DLC Weapon in The Surge. This was added with the Fire and Ice Weapon Pack.

MG Caldarium Information

“Sharing some components with the more common MG Centurion, the MG Caldarium employs a high-test cutting blade energized by a next-generation power source, and is hazardous in the extreme to uncertified users.  Caution should be exercised at all times, as splattering molten metal droplets have been known to cause severe burns to users and nearby workers.

Striking enemies multiple times causes excess heat to build up, which will then be released as a fiery burst."

• MG Caldarium can be found by progressing normally, once you run enemy the first hammer-wielding enemy that’s using its weapon in a cannon mount, go right and you’ll see the enemy walking around the area.  Prior to the DLC, this enemy was a standard Butterfly Rhino, but is now significantly more dangerous, and is a masterful user of the one-handed weapon combos.
• The enemy that drops this weapon is unique, but respawns normally and can be farmed.
